My name is Tommy Young and I  was the founder,

singer and harmonica player of the

Chrome Addicts,

one of Sacramento’s most successful

bands from 1993-2000. A 4 piece

Jump Blues combo that was on the road for

6 months of the year, racking up

almost 300 gigs annually. With tours of

the USA, Spain, France and Russia,

the Chrome Addicts we figured ourselves as

ambassadorsof the West Coast Blues sound.

Back in the day we had choice gigs that included

Windows On The World at the top of

New York’s World Trade Center and

the "World Famous" Torch Club in Sacramento.

The Chrome Addicts won the SAMMIE

(Sacramento Area Music Award) for “Best BLUES Band”

in 1998 and 1999. By this time we were regular openers

for John Lee Hooker, Los Lobos, Charlie Musselwhite,

The Paladins and numerous other Roots and

Americana performers. We self-produced 3 CD's,

selling over 10,000 copies.

In 2000, ! moved to Madrid, Spain and

started los Addictos de Chromo and sang in a

spanish swing band; The Full Flavours.

It’s now 2007 and I’m ready to make my

“68 Comeback”. I’ve got a new project...
